A Season On The Brink
By Tyler James

The players at L.C.M. have very big expectations for this season. The team is going to be mostly seniors, and we all feel like its time to get serious. After this season there is going to be no more chances for us, and if you think that isn’t going to make us play hard, you don’t know us. With a close 4th place finish last year, 4 of our starters returning, and in my opinion, the deepest bench in the district there is no reason for us not to have an unforgettable season. This year we have a new head coach. He was previously our freshman coach so he already knows us. His “my way or the highway” coaching style is just what we need here, and will MAKE us work hard even if we don’t want to. With all of these things coming together, L.C.M. will be a force in our district and will demand respect from all teams we play.

You need to address "Selfishness" on your team (tell it like it is) Here are some ways to spot selfishness:

A. Pouts when he comes out of the game.

B. When substituted for he walks off the floor.

C. Pulls shirt tail out and walks off the floor.

D. Gets dressed and out of the locker room immediately after the game.

E. If a kid does not get to play and has an "Attitude" he is selfish.
