Little Cypress
Junior High flourishes on the philosophy that positive
attitudes maximize opportunities for students. Our faculty and
staff model enthusiasm, high energy and performance, and a
high involvement in school activities. Students are encouraged
to participate in a wide variety of co-curricular and
extra-curricular activities. Coaches, fine arts directors, and
administrators coordinate schedules to allow students to be
active in several programs. A dynamic intramural program
provides an opportunity for non-varsity 7th and 8th graders to
participate in a supervised sport competition after school.
LCJH welcome new students into our school in a personal manner
to assure a smooth transition to a new school. Other clubs and
co-curricular activities include: Art
Club, Band, Cheerleaders and Mascot, Cubs for Christ, Spirit
Clubs, Choir, Scrabble Club, School
Newspaper, National
Junior Honor Society, Robotics, Student Council and Yearbook.
Parents respond to school needs by providing thousands of
hours in support and leadership for a variety of programs. |
