Sixth Grade Supply List (2007-2008)

Supplies that should be brought to each academic class every day (please be sure your child is stocked with these things throughout the school year)

§         Binder large enough to hold work for 3 classes (at least 2 inches)

§         Wide-ruled loose leaf notebook paper

§         Blue or black ink pens

§         #2 pencils with eraser

§         Red checking pens or pencils

§         Yellow highlighter

§         1 pack colored pencils

§         Ruler (metric and standard)

§         Small hand-held pencil sharpener

§         2 pencil pouches (1 for big binder and 1 for ELA binder, both stocked with pencils, pens, highlighter, checking pen, etc.)

§         2 locks (one for P.E. locker; one for hall locker)

§         P.E. uniform (shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes)

$32 Teaming Fee (covers t-shirt, agenda book, student IDs / lanyards, activities fees, lab goggles, and some supplies) will be collected at “Meet the Teachers” in August or by ELA teacher the first two weeks of school. Be sure student knows his/her t-shirt size.

English / Language Arts:

1 1” 3-ring binder filled with loose leaf notebook paper

1 composition notebook

Math:

1 3-subject spiral (wide rule)

1 yellow pocket folder (with or without brads)

2 boxes of tissues

Protractor (keep this at home)

Boys – ¼ inch (quadrille) graph paper

Girls – 2 rolls of paper towels

Science:

1 bottle Germ-X (8 oz. or bigger)

1 pocket folder (with or without brads)

Social Studies:

1 blue pocket folder (without brads)

***Individual teachers may request additional supplies once school begins.***

7^th and 8^th grade students will get instructions

from individual teachers.
