If you like geography or think you are really good in geography, you should consider participating in our school wide Geography Bee! If you would like more information on the Geography Bee, you need to attend the Geography Bee meeting this Friday at 8:00am in Mrs. Cart's room!
Student Council members, you will have a meeting this Friday at 7:55 in the library.
Remember that Friday is"Music Day", so bring your money and your music device.

 Abby Gilliam, 8th grade, will advance to state level competition with her entry in the
Patriotic Pen contest sponsored by the VFW. LCJH took all the places in the contest. The winners are - 1st Abby Gilliam, 2nd Payton Burns, 3rd Hannah East, 4th Alex Blem

Cubs for Christ is sponsoring a can food drive all next week. Bring your can foods to your first period teacher and they will be picked up and counted everyday. Don't forget to bring your can food.

Yearbook Letter
"Music Day" is the last Friday of every month. In order to participate, bring $1.00 for every class in order to listen to your cd, mp3, walkman, or iPod. Please bring the exact amount, teachers will not have money to give change. The money will go to Texas Children's Hospital in order to buy iPods for patients.
