YEARBOOKS!
Yearbooks will be given out at lunches today & tomorrow in the cafeteria.

The Messenger
Teachers & staff, Kerry LeBleu from The Messenger will be in G-21 today. For those of you who don't know Kerry, she custom-makes jewelry for great gifts. Feel free to drop by Mrs. Kaufman's class to see her artwork.

Drivers Ed
Students who will turn 16 over the Christmas holidays need to listen up! If you want to get a drivers license during the holidays, you MUST sign the list in Mrs. Kemp's office to get your green form. You will also need to see Mrs. Alford to get your TEA form BEFORE this Friday, Dec. 21.

Senior Rings
Mrs. Hooker has the senior rings that did not get picked up last week.

FCA
FCA will sell pizza tomorrow during all lunches near the front office.

FCA officers will meet Wednesday morning at 8:10 in Ms. Dohmann's room, G-3.

Golf
There will be a short golf meeting for all girls interested in play golf on Thursday, right after school in the PE gym. If you cannot attend this meeting, you must see Mrs. Castino before Thursday.

FBLA
Any FBLA member wanting to help deliver Christmas presents to local nursing homes today & Wednesday, need to meet in Mrs. Bourque's room, V-106, at 3:50 today. Any FBLA member wanting to help deliver donations for Humane Society on Thursday need to sign up in Mrs. Bourque's room or Mrs. Dyer's room by the end of today!
UIL
The UIL literary criticism team will meet Wednesday at 7:45am in Mrs. Risinger's room, G-19.
Students interested in participating in UIL spelling & vocabulary, please see Mrs. Gilbeau in room G-18 before school this week.

NHS
All current NHS members need to meet in Mrs. Brown's room, G-2, immediately after school today to discuss & assign duties for the induction ceremony.

Lamar Chemistry
The answers to the exam review for Mrs. Dunn's Lamar chemistry students will be posted outside her classroom TODAY. The Lamar chemistry exam is tomorrow & Thursday during class.

Baseball
There will be a baseball sign up meeting Wednesday, Dec 19, at 4pm in the library lecture room. Everyone wanting to play baseball needs to attend this meeting. If you are unable to be there, see Coach Griffith tomorrow morning.

Basketball
Come out & support boys' basketball playing Dayton tonight in the Bear Cave! Freshmen start at 4:30, with JV following at 6:00 then varsity at 7:30. Hoops Insider has recently called the Bear Cave "the toughest place to play in Southeast Texas" and Coach Boutte from Ozen says the LCM student section makes it very hard to play here. So keep it up!

Swim Team
Freshmen on the Bear swim team traveled to Manvel High School on Saturday to pick up a new school record. Alex Dorman set the new record in the 500-yard freestyle and Cassey Brown swam 2 personal best times. The swim team's next meet will be at Alvin High School on Jan 19.

Life Skills Cheeselogs
Life Skills is making the cheeselogs today & Thursday. On-campus deliveries will be made on Thursday unless you need them before then.

Counselors' Corner
Students interested in participating in foreign exchange may pick up a preliminary interest form in the counselors' office. The Youth Exchange program of Rotary International provide opportunities for a school year program & a short-term summer exchange program.
