Your classroom phone’s primary purpose is to dial 911 in the event of an emergency. It is also used to dial internal extensions. It is not intended to make outside calls.

By policy, classroom phones do not have voicemail on them which is a required component for transferring calls.

Phone carriers are now requiring that all calls include the area code and number. You no onger dial a 1 before the area code. Our district uses 8 to get an outside line. An example outgoing call would be 8409.XXX.XXXX
