LifeSkills Trip

Life Skills took a trip
yesterday to the Houston Museum of Natural History.
The kids had raised all the money for the trip,
including transportation. What they didn’t know was
that their vehicle was a stretch limousine. John
Martin donated a day to drive them to Houston, and he
was dressed like a Hollywood bodyguard, complete with
black turtleneck, leather jacket and shades. What
happened on the way home, Terrie tells in the next
paragraph. I was proud of the kids and staff who were
at school at 8. They lined the driveway, clapping and
yelling while the limo drove through. (see pic) What
an awesome God!
Thank you soooooooooooo much for these pics! We had a
wonderful day. We also had an awesome blessing rain
down on us from heaven!!! We had stopped in Winnie at a
gas station. An atty. from Umphrey & Provost
(spelling?) happened to be there. He asked what we were
doing, did the kids enjoy the day, etc. He then went to
Coach Martin (limo driver) and gave him his business
card. He told him to send the bill to him…he wanted to
pay for our limo!!!! Coach Martin is getting with Dr.
Armstrong to go through all the legalities. I hope
you’re not offended when I say this, but do we not have
an awesome God that looks after our precious special
needs students?!!!
