Welcome to the LCM CISD School Bond Election Website

On February 25, 2013, the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees called a bond election for $56 million to occur on May 11, 2013.

2,260 voters turned out for the election, approving the bond by a margin of 58% to 42%.

The bond proceeds are being used on all campuses, most of which were built thirty to sixty years ago and do not meet today’s standard expectations for security, energy conservation, technology, instructional arrangements, and compliance measures.

The top priority is to improve the safety and security of facilities by constructing a secure main entrance at all campuses, connecting buildings together, and eliminating exterior walkways between classes. Additionally, some instructional and common areas that are no longer adequate will be updated.

Please review other links on this page for additional information.

Call Superintendent Pauline Hargrove or Assistant Superintendent Greg Perry at 883-2232 if you have any questions concerning the bond program.
