Meet Mrs. Granger!

We are going to have so much fun in Science this year! I'm hoping that throughout the year you'll agree with me that, "SCIENCE IS COOLER THAN COOL!"

Here's a little about me:

I'm originally from northeastern Ohio, the land of two seasons:
Winter and Almost Winter.

This is the State flag of Ohio:

I moved to the great State of Texas in 1990 and soon discovered that Texas also has two seasons:

Summer and Almost Summer.

I am married and have three grown children and a stepson, ages 29, 28, 23, and 13. I'm also a GRANDMA to Matthew 6, and Emily 2.
We own a cat named "Daisy" and a Yorkie named "Bourgeois."

I am a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas with a B.S. in Earth Science. I did my student teaching at Mauriceville Middle School. My first job was teaching 9th grade Integrated Physics & Chemistry at an area high school. I eventually ended up back here at MMS in 1998 and I've been here ever since.

I am so happy to be teaching at MMS! I tell everyone I know that the community of Mauriceville raises great kids. I don't think you could find a sweeter group of kids anywhere!
