Audience:  4th Grade Students

 

 

Instructional Objective  (Social Studies):

Student will be able to identify and describe the characteristics of the different Indian tribes of Texas.

 

Instructional Objective (Technology):

Students will acquire information from the Internet and answer pre-determined questions.  Students will create a power point presentation based on the research found.

 

Assessment:

Students will present their power point presentations to the class and the class will be asked to write a paragraph describing the different Indian  tribes.  Students’ work will be assessed using a rubric.

 

Directions: 

Click on the Indian tribe your group will be researching.  When you get to that website click on “Articles on Tribes” and choose the Indian tribe name that you are researching.  Then answer the general questions found at the bottom of this site.  Answer these in your journal.
