We're excited to announce two Technology centered Professional Development opportunities that will be offered over the summer. Our Tech Champions will be there running the sessions and helping you out. I'm not sure how many technology opportunities we will have during the school year, so this would be a good time to build off all the integration that happened during the last year and a half, maybe find out about new apps and how they can be used in your classroom, or to put a fresh look on your website to start the new school year off right. Read the descriptions below to see what is being offered.
Remember, one or both sessions can count towards your August 2nd and 3rd comp days.
June 17th - 9am - 3pm - High School Library
Ideas for Tech Integration in Core Subjects (Elementary & Secondary)
If you struggle with authentic tech integration in your curriculum or have ideas but are not sure how to implement them in your lessons, join us for this session and we'll show you some example projects and help you integrate technology in your classroom. Bring your scope and sequence or a specific lesson with ideas and you'll leave with something you can use in the coming school year. We will show you how to use sites like Flipgrid, Voki, and Word clouds, brainstorm integration projects from K to 12 using our Microsoft 365 apps and help you figure out how to use sites/apps that you have been wanting to use but haven't had the time to figure out. Tech Champions from all campuses will be present to help and collaborate.

Our Favorite Tech Tools/Tech Study Hall (PM) (Elementary & Secondary)
The LCM Tech Champions will share their favorite websites and apps and then you get to try them out while we're there to help and answer questions.
We can also assist you and answer questions with other tech resources like TEAMS, Eduphoria, Skyward, etc. This is the perfect opportunity to get ready for the upcoming school year, archive last year's classes on TEAMS and plan for a great 2021-2022!
